01-Electricity
( Here this article both English and Sinhala )
Let
me talk first
What
is this Electricity?
To
put it simply, it's a force, but we can't get it direct.
Well,
the reason is this electricity is a group of electrons flowing.
We
need some energy to move the electrons.
You
know that all matter is simply created by the very core of the atom and has a
nucleus at the center of the atom.
The
positively charged particles in the nucleus contain protons, & the charged
particles neutrons.
The
atomic charge of an electron is the same as that of the positive charge of a
proton, just as the nucleus of an atom is composed of negatively charged particles
called electrons. The number of electrons in an atom is generally equal to the
number of protons ( in some cases mention about the unequal positions, but in
this situation no need about it)
These
are the protons, or the similarities between the electrons and the electrons
that can be broken by an external influence.
An
atom has the ability to get an electron. When electrons “lose” an atom,
electrons move to the atom. Here we go, we say there is an electric current.
Simply,
Electricity call as an electron flow.
